1. This site
theagentonfile.com is operated by The Agent On File LLC. The Entity Checkup and the deadline library render a compliance dataset verified against state publications; verification dates and sources travel with the data. State publications govern in any conflict, and a figure found stale is re-verified before it feeds a customer deliverable.
2. Not legal advice
Nothing on this site — including checkup results, guides, and hub content — is legal, tax, or accounting advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created by using it. Consult a licensed attorney in your state for advice about your situation.
3. The free reminder tier
The reminder tier watches one entity’s obligations computed from the verified dataset and sends reminders by email. It is a calendar service, not a guarantee: the state’s record of your obligations is authoritative, email delivery is best-effort, and the tier may be changed with notice to the account email.
4. Accounts
Portal access is by email plus a single-use-rotating access code. You are responsible for the code’s custody. Codes expire twelve months after issue and are rotated before any re-send.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the checkup or any form on this site to submit data for entities you do not own or represent, to probe the service, or to resell the dataset. The dataset’s compilation is our work product; its underlying facts belong to the states that publish them, and we cite them.
6. Draft status
All legal texts on this site are drafts pending legal review until enrollment opens. The operative service terms at enrollment will be the service agreement in force on that date.
The rate card, and the order we open in
Launch pricing, published before enrollment opens. State filing fees pass through at cost and are shown before anything is filed. The reminder tier — one entity’s ledger, watched and reminded — is free.
Enrollment is not open today. It opens when our wholesale fulfillment agreement is executed and a first test order has been completed and proven on the record. The founding list hears first — by state, in order. Questions before joining: write to the desk.
